Buy Bracket Order (Long position)

Sell Bracket Order (Short position) 

When the initial order is a Buy order, then both the Stop-loss and Target orders are Sell orders.

When the initial order is a Sell order, then both the Stop-loss and Target orders are Buy orders.

For example, Buying shares of TATASTEEL-EQ at Rs. 100, with Stoploss Spread of Rs. 5 and Target Spread of Rs. 10. 

For example, Selling shares of TATASTEEL-EQ at Rs. 100, with Stoploss Spread of Rs. 5 and Target Spread of Rs. 10. 

Initial Buy order gets placed at Rs. 100 

Initial Sell order gets placed at Rs. 100 

Sell Stoploss Trigger order will get placed at Rs. 95. 

Buy Stoploss Trigger order will get placed at Rs. 105. 

Sell Target order will get placed at Rs. 110.

Buy Target order will get placed at Rs. 90.

If the initial Buy limit order gets completed and the market moves in the opposite direction and hits the Stoploss trigger price of Rs. 95, then the Stop-loss Sell order is triggered and executed and the Target order will get canceled.

If the initial Sell limit order gets completed and the market moves in the opposite direction and hits the Stoploss trigger price of Rs. 105, then the Stop-loss Sell order is triggered and executed and the Target order will get canceled.

If the initial Buy limit order at Rs. 100 gets completed and the market moves in favor of the trader and hits the target price of Rs. 110, then the Target Sell order is triggered and executed, and the Stop loss order will get canceled.

If the initial Sell limit order at Rs. 100 gets completed and the market moves in favor of the trader and hits the target price of Rs.90, then the Target Buy order is triggered and executed, and the Stop loss order will get canceled.
