There is a unique maximum quantity limit defined by the exchange (MCX) for each contract. Your order quantity has to be less than the maximum quantity specified by the exchange, otherwise your order will get rejected.
To make things simpler for you, we enable you to place order of any quantity and if required, your order is split into multiple orders in a way that each order size is less than the maximum quantity limit defined by the exchange. For example, for aluminium the maximum quantity defined by MCX is 30 lots. So if you want to place an order of 100 lots then we will split your order into 4 different orders, i.e., 3 orders of 30 lots each and 1 order of 10 lots.
