The quantity is greater than the maximum quantity permitted, i.e., the freeze quantity. You will come across the above message on Neo when you place an order with a quantity that is higher than order freeze quantity. It is the highest quantity you can buy or sell per order.
The freeze order is set by the exchanges. If you wish, you can check this NSE link (Refer to Quantity Freeze under the Monthly Reports tab) to know more about the freeze quantity for all the stocks.
In case, you want to place orders that are higher than the prescribed freeze quantities, then you will need to do it via multiple orders.
